Licensed Professional Counselor, NCC

she/her

Welcome

I'm glad you're here.  Before I ask you to commit to the journey of counseling, let me tell you a little bit about who I am.  I was drawn to counseling because I know what it is like to struggle within your own mind and body.  My goal in working with clients is to help them to feel better and more at home within themselves. I work to achieve this by helping clients increase self-compassion and self-love.

My counseling philosophy

I believe counseling should focus on holistic wellness which incorporates physical, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, and environmental wellness.  Counseling isn't about fixing, but growing.  Counseling is a path that can lead to growth and healing, and I am here to walk down that path with you as you explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a safe and judgement-free environment.

My goal is to support my clients as they work to gain self-understanding and self-awareness.  You are the expert in your experience.  I am here to help foster a therapeutic relationship and to facilitate the process of your own exploration and growth. I am committed to our journey.

More about me

When I am not in the counselor chair, I enjoy mostly introverted activities and hobbies, including spending time with my partner and pup, reading cozy fantasy novels, coffee dates with close friends, baking sourdough bread, completing colorful jigsaw puzzles, rewatching my favorite shows over and over, and gardening.
