I believe that each person holds within themselves the ability to heal.  We have all experienced pain, grief, and hardship, and we all have the capacity for great resiliency.  You have gotten to where you are today because you have worked to be here. When humans are provided with the support and connection they need, they can achieve the growth and peace they are searching for.

Who I Work With

I offer mental health counseling services for individual adults living in the state of Oregon.  I have a special interest in diversity, social justice, and advocacy.  As such, I enjoy working with clients who identify as multicultural and/or LGBTQ+.  I have experience in trauma work including intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and childhood trauma.  I also have an interest/experience in working with neurodivergenceself-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, stress-management, personal growth, relationship concerns, and food/body issues.  If you don’t find yourself on this list, don’t fret. I would love to meet with you to see if we are a good therapeutic match.

Currently, I see all of my clients through telehealth. I am contracted to bill those who are insured by PacificSource Commercial and Community Solutions, and InterCommunity Health Network (IHN).  I also accept private-pay clients and have an adjustable fee scale based on need and availability.

What I Offer

My overall goal is to create an environment that radiates warmth, comfort, and safety. All that I do as a counselor is with the intention of assisting to facilitate growth and healing through support and empowerment

My therapeutic style often shifts to meet the needs of each client, but I approach counseling primarily from a compassion-focused perspective.  A compassion-focused perspective encourages the manifestation of self-love and self-acceptance which combats guilt, shame and hate stemming from trauma.  In addition, I incorporate person-centered therapy, emotion-focused therapy, Brainspotting, relational-cultural therapy, and strength-based therapy.  All of these approaches are used with my end goal in mind, which is peace.
